GPS FILES

All the routes from the Beyond Hamsterley guide are available on a CD in TrackLogs .trl file format for use with your GPS units. You’ll also need TrackLogs Digital Mapping software, available from www.tracklogs.co.uk. TrackLogs can tailor your software CD to your requirements. All the routes in this guide fit onto one 1:50,000 scale CD-Rom, 60km x 80km, site centered at NZ000300.

If you are already using alternative digital mapping software such as Anquet or Memory Map, you can convert the files by loading them onto your GPS and then reloading them back onto your chosen software package, but you will need a basic TrackLogs CD-Rom to enable you to do this. TrackLogs do offer a free sample CD-Rom which would do the job.
